Tequila Grillos has ALL the elements that constitute a great Tequila!
It is made with the best Blue Agave Tequilana Weber selection that gives it a great quality, it defines the tradition of making tequila with artisan processes and a very tight care to make it develop its very high quality.

Tequila Grillos is produced and bottled in Tequila, Jalisco, by Casa Reyes Barajas, a 100% Mexican company and it´s made under all the specifications marked on the Mexican Offical Norm and overseen by the Tequila Ragulatory Board (Consejo Regulador del Tequila)
After passing the Jima (the process of taking of the fibrous leaves, exposing the heart of the plant called Piña), The boiling (where they toast the Piñas in wook ovens, slowly to obtain the honey) the Grinding (the crush of the agave to extract all the juices of the cooked agave) The Fermentation (the natural process of transforming the sugar into alcohol in stainless steel vats, without accelerating the process) The Distillation ( Tequila Grillos goes through a TRIPLE distillation, in stainless steel stills to separate all the impurities and bring out the essence of the Tequila) for the Reposado and añejo, The Resting Tequila is in White Oak Barrels to obtain its unique flavor, bouquet and body and then it is Bottled in the beautiful bottle designed by the owner.

Tequila Grillos Platinum is the white Tequila from Grillos, it has a brilliant, clean clear color and a very fresh and herbal flavor. It is perfect to sip it chilled with sea food, Panela cheese, salads or a white chocolate based dessert!

Tequila Grillos Reposado, Reserva Especial, has a brilliant, clean yellow amber color. The resting period in White Oak barrels gives it a wonderful bouquet of wood notes with some dry pineapple and hints of almond, hazelnut, pepper and vanilla. This is a great Tequila to pair with all kinds of red meats and specially Mexican dishes like Mole or Carnitas.

Tequila Grillos Añejo, it has a brilliant dark golden color, it is a BIG tequila with a tremendous bouquet of hazelnut, wood, vanilla and chocolate. This Tequila is perfect to sip it slowly to enjoy it.
The cooked Piña of the Agave and the Tequila process, gives Tequila Grillos a very delicate and pleasant taste, that is not overwhelming or “burning” because it has a velvet smoothness on your palate.
If you drink it from the right glass, which in my opinion should be the Riedel Tequila glass because it directs the Tequila to the right place of your tongue and palate to enjoy it in a soft way and it opens the aromatic notes directly to your nose.

The Tequila is conquering the palates (and hearts) of millions of people around the world. It has been a slow conquer but for sure, it is just a matter of time and a job of all the Tequila connoisseurs to help it be widely known as the fine spirit that it is.
I hope more people will know the genuine, fine Tequilas that México has to offer and demand it fervently.
The time has come for pure Agave Tequilas to take their rightful place in the fine spirits hall of fame around the world!
Tequila Grillos, is a true treat for all your senses!
Salud…y Viva México!!!
