Hugo D´Acosta, one of the star winemakers of Ensenada started Paralelo Winery thinking on the people that wanted to make it´s own wine.
It was born as a property/partnership project that allowed people to participate directly in the wine industry and experiment what it is to be part of it.
The name Paralelo is used because it´s a Parallel project to Casa de Piedra, the other winery from Hugo D´Acosta; it uses the same varietals, the same assemblage, but at the same time it´s completely different. What makes it different? The essence of the valley, each peace of land transmits to the wine it´s own characteristics: the terroir.
Now Paralelo belongs to a group of enthusiastic ambassadors of the Mexican Wines.

The building of the winery it´s an emblematic construction that is in complete harmony with the nature of the valley, a place where you feel, see and breath the spirit of the vineyards, the wine and the people involved in it.

Colina Ba I and Arenal Ba II
Two daring blends where Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are the structural base and they blend perfectly with Petit Syrah, Barbera and Zinfandel.
On the nose, potent wines, with red riped fruits, marmalades and species that give them complexity. In mouth very friendly, they comfirm their fruity character in harmony with a refreshing acidity and developping tannins.
Young, fresh, modern wines, good to pair them with red meat, duck, ham, strong cheeses, fruit sauces and condimented dishes.
Emblema
A great white made 100% of Sauvignon Blanc, very discrete, elegant, with no distraction to the fruitful aromas and fresh acidity.

Enjoy this wines when you have the chance, be part of the modern tendency of the boutique wineries, meet the Mexican contemporary winemakers that put their seal (and soul) in their wines.
Salud…and Viva México!
